7AUM ARIVU- MOVIE REVIEW::

       The movie opens up in china with narration on the background about the origin of "shao lin" . From there, it moves on
 to kovai(coimbatore) 1600years before, when pallavas ruled the region. Bodhidharman( surya ) was a son of ruling
pallava king and he has mastered in each and every studies lke medicine, martial arts, hypnotism,etc., His teacher (guru)
asks him to go to china in order to spread this ancient arts to the world.

Bothidharman accepts the words of his guru and went to china. There he teached all his martial arts, medical notes to
the chinese people and died after some years. He was worshiped as God still in china, thailand, korea.

From there, it moves to present day, where SUBHA (sruthi hassan), a genetics student doing research on DNA's. And she
secretly following ARAVIND (surya), a circus artist, who is eventually found to be the offspring of Bodhidharman's
generation. She wants aravind for her research. The first half of the movie goes in a very slow pace and during the songs,
 it can be seen that people move out of the theatre in bulk. Entertainment quotient in first half is only 0%.

After the introduction of DONG LEE ( johny Tri Nguyen) and the "OPERATION RED", the movie seems to be took its
pace. The vietnamese actors potential has been used well in the movie. The fight sequence of the johny was of hollywood
quality. His killer looks throughout the movie to hypnotise people was mindblowing.

Operation red was a plan by china to spread a virus in India which was spread in china in the 6th century, which can be
cured only by bhodidharma's medicine. But this medical notes was there only with china and their plan is to make India
plead to china for the medicine for this virus disease and thereby making india to accept the demands of china.

But subha's research and her research to bring back bodhidharma in Aravind was a block to china to implement OPERATION
RED. so Dong lee was sent to kill subha and aravind. whether subha successfully completed her research? whether
bodhidharma's talents are re-established in Aravind? Whether they saved India from the dreadful disease and china? is the
CLIMAX of the movie.

Surya's acting is as usual with small small overactings. Sruthi hassan, one of the dumbstone faced heroine i have ever seen. AR MURUGADOSS will be stoned if people see him because of the over build up he gave for the movie and making them to waste their time and money.
The movie is not at all worth watching one time also. But for the history of bodhidharma, it can be watched once!!!
